I think it probably dates to the 1940s or so and came from a factory in Massachusetts or New Hamphire

With their sweet faces

7” x2 1/4” x 1 3/8” deep and in great vintage condition

especially around the holidays

Brutalist Wooden Bird Sculpture for the study I think it probably datesI have had no luck finding anything like this tabletop top bird sculpture anywhere out there, and believe that it is truly one of a kind. I think it is fantastic reminding me of a pre historic sort of a bird, given a brutalist sort of a treatment. I would guess it dates to the 1960s or early 70s, and it is made in three parts that fit together via pegs extending from each section (the head sticks into the body; the body onto the base.)
