SLOAN - Steady LP (colour vinyl) roots this is still a darkLimited edition purple colour vinyl. Canadian power pop band Sloan's umpteenth album, Steady, ranks among their best. The sound is spare, tight, and punchy, perfectly suiting the group's style (mid '60s Beatles, essentially). To say that there isn't a bad song in the batch is an understatement. All are quite catchy and several of the tunes here are simply great.
