Bill Ballan Model 44 Fly Reel 8 Weight George Jr Fly Reel -A little Bill Ballan fly reel, his Leonard Model 44 replica. Favors right hand wind, but it's subtle and could likely be used just fine as LHW as well. 2 1 2" diameter pillar to pillar with 3 4" spool width. The reel is in near mint condition with a few handling marks but no sign of fishing use. Black sideplates with a silver frame, spool, and foot. "Bill Ballan" and "Model 44" engraved in the faceplate. It would be perfect for lines up to a DT3.
