The booklet is a very rare ancestor of modern pop up books as the head of the animal portrayed on the cover was movable. Published by Franceschini editions of Florence in 1949, it was part of a series of 10 titles. Unfortunately, it was stored in a humid place (Florence flood?) which completely deteriorated its consistency, affecting its integrity. The covers have detached from the supporting cardboard as well
