Fordlndia is one of Jhann Jhannsson's lesser known works having only been available in a limited pressing. The title references Henry Ford's disastrous rubber plantation (there's a good name for a band by the way) which he abandoned in the mid '20s. The music is a typically gorgeous mesh of electronics and orchestral sounds that seem at times disparate but come together as the two separate themes merge into one.
