My View poppy if only we would listenMany of my nature paintings are a blend of familiarity with a special place and the feelings I experience when I am there. Though I may not be on site while painting, I often supplement my fertile imagination with photos to capture certain details accurately. One of my happiest places is perched on a boulder along the Art Loeb Trail in Pisgah National Forest, gazing at Sams Knob and the endless, mist covered mountains of the Blue Ridge. Original
