Orvis Battenkill 8'6 7-8wt Bamboo Rod Granger / Wright & McGill The Scott logo is laserFor sale here is an impregnated Orvis Battenkill 8'6" 3 2 7 8wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 10855, made in November of 1949 by Cal Skinner. The rod remains in excellent condition with two exceptions. The script and guide wraps have received a touch up varnish coat which is a bit sloppy in places. Also, the midsection is short by 7 8". All sections are straight with the exception of a slight set in the mid section. The rod features browntone Bakelite
