Square-Shouldered Bowl in Chinese Blue, 10"dia. (Ben Owen III) Edo Jar 25" to lid handle tipA unique bowl with a great blend of turquoise blue, copper red and metallic grey finish. The color variations are due to the introduction of carbon into the kiln chamber atmosphere. The carbon is absorbed into the glaze and clay, creating a unique color change all along the surface of the bowl. This bowl shape is influenced by Ben IIIs time in Japan during the 1990s.
