Operation Banner Commemorative Miniature Medal CHRISTMAS2024 In 1993 the DCM was2017 marked the 10th anniversary of the end of Operation Banner in Northern Ireland and we have been asked to produce a commemorative medal to mark service in the region during Operation Banner. This simple but poignant design features the map of the region and the dates of Operation Banner on the obverse with a distinctive laurel leaf on the reverse.
