Raw and unrefined, yet suitable as they make additionally evident Mission of Burma's roots in punk, specifically hardcore punk. The average song tempo here is much faster than most anything on Vs. (think "How I Escaped My Certain Fate"), and the vocals adapt a common hardcore punk styled lisp. Though as unusually abrasive as ever, Mission of Burma at their best succeed by still managing to put
