Schaeffer Woerly Orage Maceration 2023 13% (750ml) South London Best London The grapes are hand-harvestedMaxime Woerly of Domaine Schaeffer Woerlyfarms eight hectares of vines on the eastern slopes of the Vosges Mountains in Dambach la Ville in Alsace. He converted to organics in 2010, which respects the work done in the vineyard and allows better expression of Alsatian grape varieties and terroirs. Orage (not a typo!) is a blend of Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris. The Gewurztraminer was aged for a year in barrels, then blended with the Pinot Gris. Grapes:
