The Ungoverness nature and oh so much sugar(2025) The Ungoverness is the 5th drawing in my Schadenfreude Series. Measuring 20 x 20, it was hand drawn using a mix of color pencil, ink, and marker. In the 19th century, a governess was a professional woman, usually middle class, hired to educate and train children in the private homes of the affluent. In this version, my child free ungoverness basks in the warmth of her own violent social rebellion of simply being.
