Even with worn out guides the rod placed third and narrowly missed second

Orvis Impregnated Salmon Rod 9'6" 3/2 #9 8 Weight UPDATE #4 - 11/16/2017 -An Orvis impregnated salmon fly rod, 9'6" 3 piece, 2 tip. Serial #36915. Feels like a #9 weight to me. Used but straight as a pin and very good ferrule fit. 7' cigar grip, down lock aluminum screw lock reel seat boasts a detachable fighting butt with a rubber button. Oxidized step ferrules. Aluminum tube and bag.
