Large 19th Century Portrait Of A Gentleman, Monogrammed & Dated. English School. Art Nouveau but the loss is concealedA large 19th century English School portrait of a seated gentleman in a black suit, housed in an attractive and substantial gilt frame. The work is monogrammed 'RT' and dated 1884 to the lower left corner. The work has undergone restoration with the restorer's stamp evident verso (Phil J Simmonds & Sons, Essex).
