Set of 8 French c. 1900 Microscope Slides with Insect Specimens paper basket Easy to frame just showingIt seems beautiful glass microscope slides are finding me lately and these antique French ones with handwritten specimen descriptions on lithographed paper labels I think are just so lovely. Silkworm and foot of a caterpillar happily need no translation, and then there appears to be the scale of a sole (fish I assume) and mouth of a ?, and something human! (perhaps your deciphering skills will be better than mine!) All of the specimens are visible
