This design has a hinge that will perform better than the original. With holes in two hinge parts designed for a piece of 1. 75mm filament or steel wire to hold them firmly. The hole in the upper part can be connected to the existing spring on the Octopus. The sizes worked for me, but you might need to smooth out the prints
