This is just a little thing--2 1/4 inches tall--but if there were ever the perfect little stand for displaying tiny little things

but I've since learned that there was quite a menagerie of them

Empatheric Dappled Gray Horse, Antique Theorem Watercolor with Graphite Mane hand marbled paper It's not very often thatThere are a fair number of antique theorem watercolors on paper of fruits and flowers out there (a good number of which I scoop up!) but much rarer in my experience to come across an animal, so of course I jumped right on this charmer of a horse!:) With great mottling on the body that reminds me of smoke decoration on early boxes and chests, pure black ink for hooves and ears and eyes, and a very sweet hand drawn graphite mane. Wonderfully graphic and
