Braille Alphabet Cards, School of the Blind, Watertown, MA c. 1940s - Sold Individually iron sculpture and wood panel backI've never learned braille but these make me want to, and I think hanging one on the wall where one would see it all the time would prompt one, often, to imagine how it would be to experience the world without sight. Which for me at least stimulates both empathy and imagination. And, perhaps ironically, I find these, in their very 1940s or so institutional manner, very visually satisfying. Produced by the Perkins School for the Blind, Watertown, MA. 3
