Vintage 50s 60s Day Dress Camel Knit Designer Anne Fogarty VFG 40s style Leather outer soleThis vintage 1960s day dress is beautifully made, and comes from Anne Fogarty, one of the women at the forefront of American fashion design in the 1950s and 1960s, along with Claire McArdell and Bonnie Cashin. The design is clean and deceptively simple. The bodice has a peter pan collar, and is fitted to the body with horizontal and vertical darts. The skirt waist is smooth at the center front and softly gathered along the sides and back. I love the
