Gerard Boulay Sancerre Comtesse 2023 Country - Iceland benefit from the region’s uniqueSancerre Comtesse From 50 75 year old vines located in the sweet spot of the Mont Damns vineyard (bottom of the slope, near Clos La Neore of Vatan), this is often the most powerful wine from Boulay's lineup. Vintage 2005 was the inaugural release. Depsite it's power it is a deeply nuanced wine. The aromas are fresh and lightly perfumed, as though some hours ago an elegantly dressed perfume had wafted by some hours ago. The standout characteristic of
