Very Large, Unusual Old Pine Carved Whimsy with Two Balls in Cages on Center Post domino playing cards It features a hand-painted goldenI am always looking for oversized whimsies, especially, which feel more like sculptures or tabletop architectures than little carvings. This is that, and unlike another I've seen, with the two balls connected to a central post, such that they remain forever at the center of their cages as opposed to bouncing around. The post is a separate piece of wood on which the balls can be turned on the horizontal axis though I think likely carved from the same
