I might think this great wooden folk art chicken was the work of well-known Georgia folk artist RA Miller (1912 –2006)--the silhouette and use of line is very similar

it makes perfect sense that this should assume the form of a dog

and I think it's good from 360 degrees

Large, Very Beautiful Antique Carved Wood and Cork Fishing Float gull I might think this greatI'm a sucker for beautiful fishing floats, which I find super satisfying objects, in terms of both painted surface and form (plus they're easy to hang!) and this is among the most beautiful I've seen. Wonderfully (and to my eye very lovingly) painted yellow bands over the red on the stem at both ends as well as on the cork body of the float, and then this beautifully carved ring bead near the end, red with a yellow stripes around the perimeter.
