Good Egg: Scarce and Excellent 1906 Bassett's Egg Shampoo Advertising Tin, Rochester NY mid century pottery and perhaps the abstracted figureI came across one of these Bassett Egg Shampoo tins for the first time at an antique shop in Pennsylvania and was very taken with it but then I saw the price! Happily, a couple of days later I came across another at more of a hole in the wall shop, not so preciously marked. A wonderful example of package design, produced by Bassett Supply Co., Rochester NY, c. 1906. With directions for use of the egg shampoo on the flip side of the tin. Charming. 2 3
