A great early map for this portion of Florida, northeast of Tampa Bay and the battles that ensued. Typically seen as a mid 19th century reprint, this map notes a lot about the regions terrain, trails and early forts and settlements. An inset details the "Battle Ground of Major Dade 28 Dec 1835". Condition is good with some sporadic foxing.
