Perhaps the most ornate map we've had for the empire, it's surrounded with a golden decorative cartouche and two quotes espousing the Empire's invincibility and power of endurance. With British possessions highlighted in red throughout the world, it's a dramatic map and a quaint momento of the British era. Condition is very good. Image size is 15. 5 x 22
