Spool width is 1 1 8". Nice bronzed finish in flawless condition. Winds smoothly and a strong click. Unfiled reel foot and nice horn handle that spins freely. Foot is slightly bent on one end but can be corrected. Very clean throughout. The reel weighs 11. 2 oz : )
