so I carve some and play the fiddle

Gestural Vintage Wax Modeled Figure Juan diego The pages have been cutI've had this figure sitting on a shelf near where I take photographs for maybe three years, thinking every time I look at it what a satisfying little sculpture it is there is energy and grace to those arms arching in opposing balance and to the slight lean of the body on the knees. Anyway, I think so! Hand formed of wax, as an art school exercise or by a working artist I have no idea. Found in central MA, with some age for sure, and wax pretty much
