Dudleya pachyphytum Caudiciform The spines form an attractiveDudleya pachyphytum Family: Crassulaceae. A very rare species known only from Cedros Island in Baja California. This is a mid sized species with thick white leaves. The white color is actually a waxy powder produced by the plant. It comes off very easily if the leaves are touched. Best to touch the leaves as little as possible. Easy to grow. Likes lots of sun. Can take light frost, but protect if temps will be below the upper 20s. Will clump heavily
