with dark mud-looking stain as noted and a bit of what I think is some green paint rubbed off of another drawing at lower right on that same side

just enough different to make it tough to decide which side is better

To My Love, Old Crayoned Valentine from Alice with Woven Paper Heart Corners antique bone figure it's also just a greatIt may be Halloween season, but in my book it's always time for a Valentine, and I could never wait until February to share one as charming as this, made by Alice for her Aunt Hazel a hundred years or so ago I'd guess. I love the big bold red crayoned heart, but the woven paper hearts at the corners make it especially special. 5 1 4" x 4 1 6" and in good condition, bright and bold, with a little loss to the top right woven heart.
