The Diamond Dyes 45 Color Sample Swatch Card, Wells, Richardson & Co Vermont, c. 1910s ruled letter opener as well as the cheerfulJust so pretty, I can't resist these when I come across them, which is pretty rarely. Forty five dyed fabric swatches, some cotton and some wool it appears, with excellent names under each for other colors each dye could be used to make: fawn, peacock, canary, sandal, cerise, prune, etc. Plus a great little pointing hand at bottom left and "directions for odd colors" on reverse.
